1 Liner: The Hush Sound - Goodbye Blues

The band which started off more folk oriented continues to evolve their sound more and more into a pop sound. The record is also highly female vocals as opposed to the band’s first record. I seem to fall farther from being a fan with each release, although I can see how this album will gain the band a lot of fans.

I love these release. While I love the Bob songs I think I’ve always enjoyed the Greta songs more so to see her vocals progress as they have and to have them stand out so much is amazing to me!

The styles they’re exploring from blues music seem to be creating a very interesting sound. From the previews I’ve heard, the new songs sound like some of their most haunting and at times catchy yet. I’ll miss some of the folk from their other albums as well as hearing Bob sing as much, but I think Goodbye Blues will be a very strong album that I hope gains them many more fans.
