1 Liner: Ortega - Conversations

Ortega is hanging on to the proven hard rock/punk genre that was at its height a couple years ago (think Finch/Funeral for a Friend). ‘Conversations’ is good enough to make a splash and name for the band but not enough of the songs are as good as “Times Are Changing” or “Check In Check Out”.

    Hey….

i checked the band out from this when i saw it. I agree that Check In Check Out and Times are Changing do rock, but …When She Moves is awesome! So i await the album, and then i will see what i think about the other songs and come back.

This website has got it all wrong, I have listened to this record and there are more than just two songs that are as good as the ones mentioned.

Conversations is more than good enough to make a ’splash’ a name for the band, i don’t think this review is well written, if the reviewer had listened to album thoroughly they might have a better clue to write a more thoughtful review that relates to the record

i was implying that those were the best songs not that they were the only good songs
