Do you prefer for band’s to post videos and updates from the recording studio or would you rather just be surprised when the album comes out?

here’s my two cents…I figure, if I’m planning to get the album anyway, I’d prefer to hear it all at once. If I’d only download a single, then doesn’t matter when I hear it - whether video previews, or whatever
almost always if a band is doing updates, either written or video, I’m not interested. I would prefer to just hear it, bonus stuff after the fact on the making is usually more interesting
I think the nicest thing to know is when they might be finished/a release date. Most likely I’d only watch the updates from my favorite band/s because I don’t have time to watch one that every band puts out.
well…its nice for the really, really big fans. if its a band that i’m moderately interested in i’m probably not going to take the time to watch their video updates, but there have been a few bands where i’ll probably watch everything and anything i can get my hands on just cus they’re that darn cool.
