There’s an article on MTV recapping some of the best albums released thus far this year. While The Hold Steady’s album was decent, personally I am still leaning towards The New Frontiers debut ‘Mending’ as the best so far in 2008. Any thoughts?

This is a very hard question. I came up with a top 5 list.
1. Burning Tree Project - Time And Color EP
2. A Rotterdam November - A Rotterdam November
3. We Shot The Moon - Fear And Love
4. Ivoryline - There Came A Lion
5. Seabird - ‘Til We See The Shore
Relient K’s new album might crack my top 5 and also The Wedding’s new EP “The Sound, The Steel”
Too many good albums out already and still plenty more to come out, such as the new Anberlin album and Switchfoot’s new album. Great year for music, at least as far as I’m concerned
ya, actually I’m still going back and forth about which position jon foremans records will come in.
can’t wait for anberlin.
before ‘oh gravity’ came out i wasn’t very excited about a new switchfoot record but after that record I’m pumped for new stuff from them
