We did an interview with Brighten a few months ago, in which they reveled that they would be releasing a new EP at the end of summer. Justin also mentioned that “love” and a positive message would be a big theme of the album which they definitely are.

The record is definitely light and airy musically fitting the lyrics perfectly. Fans of Brighten’s first record should eat this up and not worry about the band straying too far from their traditional sound. “We Are Birds” along with “Easy To Fall In Love” are at first listen, the tracks to keep an eye (ear) on.
