1 Liner: Asa – Self Titled

Only taking half way through the first song to get acquainted with Asa’s acoustic focused folk style, it’s easy to see very quickly that this is an amazing record with powerful themes. There is not a bad song on this album although some definitely shine brighter than others. All the tracks work together creating a mood, an experince unlike most records can do. It’s only January but already this self titled collection of songs will be one of the best to come out in the US in 2009.
