1 Liner: Owl City – Ocean Eyes

‘Ocean Eyes’ is the band’s major label debut and full of the same electronic pop that the band has always had. Owl City has a certain style and groove which is never really strayed away from, but so far it continues to work. Although there are some of the better older songs mixed in there are plenty of new tunes of the highest caliber.

Listen to Owl City

Song to start with: “Hello Seattle”

Side note: Does anyone know what happen to “Hot Air Balloon” or “Strawberry Avalanche”. Seems wierd that the songs which were promoting the new release are not on the album.

I think those are ‘monthly releases.’
He will make a song for August.
    Then one for September.
    You get the idea.
They are just non-album songs he releases to keep folks interested.

I’m so glad you finally posted Owl City stuff. And yes, I was very surprised that “Hot Air Balloon” and “Strawberry Avalanche” weren’t on the album. I’m sorry that he rereleased some of the old tunes, especially since they weren’t my favorites of his. I’m especially tired of “Hello Seattle”. And they weren’t even really changed at all, just rerecorded with extra bass. But the new songs on the record are excellent.
