Since crying about it won’t bring Copeland back, how about you check out a similar band named Deas Vail. They are not a replacement and are not trying to be, but I know there are still a lot of people who have not given them a chance yet and you really need to. If you have already fallen in love with the high pitch vocals and the mellow rock then you may want to go back and listen to the band’s first full length record ‘All The Houses Look The Same’.

I just listened to Birds & Cages for the first time today and I must say that I think “All The Houses Look The Same” sounds way better. I’ll compare it to Jack’s Mannequin. “Everything In Transit” was incredible. The vocals were well placed and there were some stand-out tracks. The follow up album, “The Glass Passenger” was a bit disappointing. I’m not saying Birds & Cages was terrible, there were just way more tracks that stood out on ATHLTS.
