The Album Project Fully Mobile

You no longer need to go to a special mobile site, simply go to Thealbumproject.net on any mobile device (phone/ipod touch/etc) and you will see a mobile version of the site.

New Page

The Album Project has added a new static page called ‘Need To Know‘. This page is for unsigned artists that you need to know. The goal is that this will raise awarness for these bands/artists.

The Album Project Promotion

There has been a lot of visitors lately and so there is a bit wider audience, so I thought I would pose the question, have you told your friends about The Album Project? We really could use all the help and promotion that we can get so it would definitely would be much appreciated.
We have a presence on some other places around the web which are always on the right hand side of the site. If you use any of those, be our friend, or if you don’t you can still check out our pages.
Virb, Google Calendar, Twitter, Muxtape, as well as a mobile version of the site.

If you look to the right hand side at the different “widgets” you will now see a new one (last one) which is “Top 7 Posts”. These are the posts that are the most popular right now. Hopefully this will be helpful when the popular ones get pushed to page 2. Any opinions on it? there is a comment box with your name on it.

We have made some changes in the last few months like adding pictures to the 1 Liners, also adding cover art and track listing to full reviews. The newest thing is to add “for fans of, and song to start with” to daily recs.

Tis The Season…

…For music releases to be slow. As the year whines down so does the music releases and album reviews. There still should be one or two reviews coming out before the end of the year (if not more) but 2008 should have a lot of good things in store. This lull is always tough for me as I just can;t wait for the albums to start rolling in again. Anyone else go through new release with draw?

Best Of 2007

We are starting to prepare for the top 10 albums of 2007 list. There are a few more albums hanging around needing to be released but we should have something a little after the 1st of December.
If there is any category you think we should add such as favorite EP, favorite song, etc.. leave those suggestions in the comments. Start thinking about you personal top 2007 list also because we want those as well.
