I must say I enjoyed her demos she put out last year a lot more than I do her entire album. I liked the rawness her demos had.

I'm truly excited for the release of New Surrender. Although, in my opinion I really hope it is better than Cities. I didn't really think Cities was over the top amazing but I still liked it a lot. I'm just hoping for more of the Anberlin from the "Friendship...." days

Well, I thought that NTFP was 1000x better than Cities, but that's just my taste. I'm not saying that Cities was bad by any means, it's just NTFP has a dear place in my heart. I'm interested to see how New Surrender matches up to it.

your judgments are terrible on all of your albums! i do not know why people including myself wasted my time reading these... everybody has there own style and crave in different types of music. You obviously have never heard good music!

Anyone want a real review on this album? Listen up!

This album is very well put together and the way they played out the album was even more brilliant! On the other side of it the album did fall short of everyones expectations... It was not as up beat or exciting as there last album, which was a real bummer... The vocals are amazing in all of Classic Crimes work and they build there songs around it!

Songs 1 and 2 are put together brilliantly! The first song leading into the next with the 0 seconds in between to mesh the songs to seem like there one was very creative because if your listening to them for the first time you think they were one song, when actually they are just two different songs beautifully meshed together to create an amazing start of the album.

Lyrically "Abracadavers" takes the cake. This song was incredibly written! It was the first released song by the band which was kind of a mistake in my eyes but oh well.

The rest of the album is a master piece! lyrically, vocally, and mentally this album changes you! It's deff. a must have if you like Classic Crime, or an up beat, vocally gifted band!

Enjoy, Matt

Ps. This website owner has no taste in good music!

i think anyone making special packages over 40 or 50 bucks is trying to take a page out of NIN book.

$100+ for a package is pretty ridiculous, it's like just throwing stuff out there and seeing what people will buy.

anyway, golden ticket idea, good. 10 different pre-order packages, bad.

they have definitely learned to market themselves.
they've had all kinds of special packages for this release, like the special underoath suitcases and the different pre-orders.
