Full Review: Angels & Airwaves – LOVE

Friday, February 19th, 2010

Usually carrying on much longer than is necessary, Angels & Airwaves have built their sound and persona on appearing to create something that’s bigger than a traditional, easy to dissect 3 minute song. In an interesting turn of events, you don’t even have to be a fan to find out how the band’s 3rd release turned out. Due to a “corporate underwriting”, that can only be assumed to have something to do with the movie with the same title, ‘LOVE’ was freely released to everyone.

1 Liner: Angels & Airwaves – LOVE

Sunday, February 14th, 2010

Centered around outer space both lyrically and musically with the vast soundscapes that the band has always been known for, ‘LOVE’ integrates the best elements from the first two albums together into this 3rd release. Not really changing anything up for the long-term fans, the 11 tracks somehow feel more inviting to those not yet convinced. If for no other reason than it’s a free album, ‘LOVE’ is worth getting, and chances are you find something enjoyable.

‘Love’ An Angels & Airwaves Movie [Seriously]

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

I’m a bit confused, but here is the movie inspired by, or thought up by the band Angels & Airwaves.

lovemovie

After losing contact with Earth, Astronaut LEE MILLER becomes stranded in orbit alone aboard the International Space Station. As time passes and life support systems dwindle, Lee battles to maintain his sanity – and simply stay alive. His world is a claustrophobic and lonely existence, until he makes a strange discovery aboard the ship. Driven by the powerful music of ANGELS & AIRWAVES, “LOVE” explores the fundamental human need for connection and the limitless power of hope… A high-impact visual adventure, that resonates a common truth, that everyone has a story to tell and something even greater to leave behind.
