Matt Wertz has a new album coming out in September and for all those that haven’t really give him a listen this album will be a good opportunity to (as it has some of his best work on it). I really dislike the fact that the album contains 7 or 8 previously released songs and only 4 new ones. Life is that way sometimes though and I’m getting over it slowly and hearing his “new” single “5:19″ is helping the process. I am looking forward to hearing the songs re-recorded and hopefully given a slightly new refresh.

Matt Wertz has signed a record deal with Universal Records and will be coming out with a new record sometime around May.

The upside? There will be a new Matt Wertz record that you can find in pretty much any music store.

The Downside? There will only be 3 new songs on it, which will be combined with 9 older songs.
