Today’s rec is for those that need a little punk/pop/rock every once in awhile. Run Kid Run used to be Side Walk Slam who was pretty much the stereo typical 2 minute punk song from the mid to late 90’s. Run Kid Run has greatly expanded but still holds a tad of familiarity to the old days. Their new record comes out Tuesday, so give them a listen.

For fans of: Mxpx, Acceptance, Aaron Sprinkle

Song to start with: Captives Come Home

1 Liner: Run Kid Run – Love At The Core

Friday, April 25th, 2008

Run Kid Run is still rocking the older pop punk style which others abandoned years ago. ‘Love At The Core’ may not break any molds but that doesn’t matter because the album is nearly flawless at what it does do.
