I don’t know about you, but I tend to be a sucker for cover songs & albums and so when Runner Runner [poppy alter-ego to Over It] makes a 6 song EP of them, it’s worth taking notice of. I could do without hearing “Semi-Charmed Life” again, no matter how good Third Eye Blind is, but besides that the song selection is pretty good. “Sweetness”, “Slide” and “With Or Without You” all shine the way the originals did.

Runner Runner (e.g. Over It) recently covered U2’s “With Or Without You” adding an electronic element to it that makes it pop out at you, not to mention the vocals are stellar.

Instead of alienate their punk fans from a change in style, Over It simply formed a new band for their more pop stuff that they wanted to write. Runner Runner is the power pop/electro version of the punk band Over it.
