If Search The City isn’t ringing any bells please stop what you are doing and listen to at least one song. The band may sound like a lot of other rock bands on paper but there is something that just makes all their songs stick to you like glue.

I’m not quite sure if it’s because I wasn’t expecting anything from this band but the album is so enjoyable all the way through. The musical formula is very predictable but in spite of that it’s still a good listen.

Search The Hype

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

As Search The City continues to slowly drip songs to the public through their myspace player my interest in their record goes up and up. The newest song, “The Rescue” along with “Ambulance Chaser” are my favorites.

Search The City Commentary

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

Search The City just released a their 2nd new song (Ambulance Chaser) on their myspace page, and I have now officially become pretty excited for this album. Tooth and Nail Records have a very particular style of bands they tend to sign as of lately and that style seems to be a “trendy” one [can I say that?]. Search The City may fall within that trendy style but they also are able to convince me quickly after the song starts to keep listening, and at the end of the day that’s enough.

Tooth and Nail Records has a certain style of band that they sign and Search The City falls into that category but there is something interesting about the band. What do you think?
