After hearing the record’s lead single, “About A Girl”, it’s hard to argue that this band can’t write a radio hit. In fact Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy is quoted as saying “Mind blowing. Miles away from where they [The Academy Is...] were” about this album. So how does the final product stand [...]

This is the summer CD of 2008. Every song begs to be played while driving down the high with the windows down and stereo cranked up. This should be the album to bring the band into mainstream view with nearly every track playing to a radio friendly audience.
