Let me start by saying, you need to listen to this band and these new songs. The Gallery have 2 new songs up right now which, I found out, are not from any new record, but just 2 new songs. The Gallery is one of those rare authentic pop/punk bands in the same vain as Valencia. You can download my favorite track (only by a hair though) “Life Is Strange” below which is unapproved, but too good to just stream.

Chances are you haven’t heard The Gallery but you need to. Unassuming, graceful rock music which is innocent yet full of passion. Start with the song “Where We Began”.

From obscurity to notoriety, the new album ‘If You Know What I Mean’ is poised to make a huge impact for The Galley. Amazingly focused and solid the entire way through, the slightly folk infused indie rock debut record is sure to turn some heads.

The Gallery is releasing their debut full length “If You Know What I Mean” on Blue Duck Records on August 12th. Currently they have 3 songs off that album on their Myspace.

I was actually really impressed when I pulled up the band’s Myspace and “Where We Began” came up and started playing. I didn’t even have a chance to question if I liked the music, it just clicked.
